Prop. 102

I am so proud of my kids! We took flyers around, prayed constantly, and finally, we showed up at the polls in support of Prop. 102! We are really proud of them for learning that some things are just worth standing up for.

Halloween night

Isaac is the flying dragon. The costume didn't last long. What do you expect in 90 degree weather... at the end of October???

Cassie as my little bumblebee. She couldn't help following the big bright gold round balls that were on her head...

Seth as Anakin Skywalker.

Bryce as OB-1

David as Darth Vadar... mask didn't last long either. You couldn't see very well in the dark.

Katie as Dorothy from the Wizard of Oz. Toto was in her basket, but she thought that having Isaac on a leash was a better option for Toto.

Here is a group of pictures of all the kids before going out trick or treating. And yes, Clint counts as one of them. Cassie had walked ahead of the group, following those fascinating balls.

Dress up

This is what happens when you've got an older sister watching out for you...

Not quite so sure that I love this one as much...

She really is lucky to have a big sister who loves her so much. She just doesn't know it yet.

Just because I love this picture

It's all about being cute...

Happy 6th birthday Seth!

No, we don't believe in the traditional cake and ice cream. That's sooooo last year!

Yes, the bag is as big as he is...

All the kids watching Seth open his presents. You can see the extreme enthusiasm on Cassie's face. Toothpaste is part of her daily diet.

My little football player

Because of his enormous size, he's going to need the skills he's learning as an offensive lineman for his future as a center in the NFL!

Seth's first flag football game. We were all surprised that they actually knew how to run some real plays! It was fun to watch!
The boys all cheering him on. Way to go Seth!

It's all fun and games... until someone steals your juice!

Can you tell I really find my kids cute? The actual event was much better than what I eventually caught on camera.... but it's still cute.

I'm all about the rules...

...unless you can't even win at your own game. Then there's not point in playing... just quit.

Or you could just make up your own rules so that you can win!

This was taken at Haws park while we were waiting for the food. He wanted to show me that he knew what he was doing, but it didn't work out the way he planned, so this was the result.

Fun in the Sun!

On our way to Eagar, we stopped by Pima to see Uncle Lee and Aunt Allison. We decided it was too hot, so we better cool down with a little water and some speed. The kids had a blast! David

Isaac

Just the right speed... (Seth and Isaac).

Thanks to the Pima Haws family for the fun time on the lake!

Haws Park

We love going up to Eagar. It gets the kids out and allows them to do so much more than what they can do home, in the heat. Haws park is one of our favorite places for food, folks, and fun...

Can't get enough speed...

Go get 'em Bryce!

Waiting for a ride...

Start them young...

Thanks Uncle Brett! You're the favorite now!

Who says you're too big for toys?

Mud mania

Isaac finishing the course..

David in the race...

Almost to win...

Now the fun part...

Not quite dirty enough... better go again!

Getting ready to run in Mud Mania!

Boys Basketball Camp

What form... What grace... Think we'll have the next Michael Jordan? Ok, so they're as white as they come. What they may lack in natural talent, they make up for in heart. What do you do when it's too hot to do anything else and your kids are driving each other (and you) crazy? Put them in basketball camp! It was a great experience and kept Bryce and David busy for a couple hours each day this week. Thanks HUSD!

Thanks Grandpa and Grandma!

Thanks for the memories. We had a great time!

And finally...my personal favorite... the crawdad fishing...

As you can see, this one was my all time favorite activity. Yuck! But the kids, on the other hand, couldn't get enough of it!
